Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and independence rules and standards to assist senior managing directors and clients with communications with regulators on auditing, accounting, financial reporting, and independence matters.
  • •Provide an independent perspective based on GAAP, IFRS, and PCAOB Standards to help audit firms identify enhancements to their audit methodology and quality control system.
  • •Assist external and internal counsel with investigations of corporations surrounding breaches of internal policies, procedures, and ethics.
  • •Support remediation efforts, root cause analyses, pre-issuance and post-issuance reviews of issuer and broker-dealer engagements, and investigations.
  • •Contribute to regulatory remediation assistance and independent monitorships for regulatory undertakings.

Key Requirements

  • •Current CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license required
  • •Five or more years of progressively responsible experience having attained the Manager level in an audit firm
  • •PCOAB or SEC regulatory experience is a plus
  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MBA/Master's degree is a plus
  • •Strong knowledge of PCAOB standards and GAAP. IFRS and IAS knowledge is a plus
