Director - AI Engineering - Agentic AI

Lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of agentic AI systems across American Express Technology. You’ll build and run production-grade agentic AI platforms at enterprise scale, driving shared capabilities like orchestration, planning, tool use, memory, RAG pipelines, and LLM infrastructure. Combining technical leadership with people leadership, you’ll set standards, review critical designs, recruit and grow engineering teams, and help translate ambiguity into reliable, compliant autonomous systems.
