Job Summary

Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles and construction equipment at EquipmentShare locations. Use mechanical and electrical know-how to handle installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground to complex wiring harness work involving CAN networks. Diagnose and resolve problems, collaborate with the team on different assets, and travel to client sites and rental yards within a 250-mile radius. On-call scheduling may apply.

•Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
•Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes.
•Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
•Handle installation scenarios from basic to complex, including custom wiring harnesses for CAN network access.
•Identify and resolve problems by gathering and analyzing information; travel to client sites and EquipmentShare rental yards as needed.

•Own tools; a few specialty tools will be provided.
•Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check, including willingness to travel within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time (and pass a 10-panel drug screen).
