Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute Mastercard’s compete & collaborate strategy across APMs in Asia, including commercialization and scale-up of WXP (Wallet Express Economics Program).
  • •Drive commercialization and scale-up for Essential umbrella products (Essential Debit, Essential for Wallets, Essential Prepaid) in partnership with market and global debit/regional acceptance teams.
  • •Spearhead strategic initiatives including Cost of Acceptance and Tapestry, aligning with regional priorities and driving execution across markets.
  • •Serve as the AP product representative for SEA division, bridging regional product strategy and in-market execution.
  • •Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product professionals while tracking opportunities, reporting progress, and gathering structured stakeholder feedback to improve outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in product management, product commercialization, or business development in payments/fintech/financial services, with deep knowledge of debit, prepaid, and APM ecosystems.
  • •Proven people leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams in matrixed, multi-market environments.
  • •Strategic and commercially minded ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and build business cases to drive measurable growth.
  • •Strong understanding of financial/pricing concepts including interchange, MDR, cost of acceptance, and competitive economics.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
