Job Summary

Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver building materials to customer sites while keeping freight undamaged. Inspect and maintain truck/trailer for safe operation, load/unload using flatbed or boom equipment, and follow customer directions and safety priorities. Maintain required compliance records, report accidents, and handle physically demanding loading/unloading up to 100+ lbs. Provide professional, world-class customer service throughout deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect truck/trailer for defects and operate the vehicle safely in compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
•Load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
•Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by customers while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.
•Maintain records required for state and federal compliance and report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
•Lift and handle heavy building materials and perform work in outside environments to meet delivery schedules.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with Minimum Class B; Class A strongly preferred.
•Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
•Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and ability to maintain compliance records.
•Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and customers and work effectively independently and as part of a team.
