Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities by identifying strengths/weaknesses, setting improvement steps, and communicating expectations and performance measures.
  • •Engage and develop associates through coaching, feedback, and performance management; prevent and resolve conflict among team members.
  • •Review and approve identified mechanical and physical defects, and partner with the General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.
  • •Train associates to complete repairs using Quality Control standards and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards to minimize re-checks and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •At least 18 years of age and experience using computers.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently and work extended periods standing in a fast-paced environment; use safety equipment.
