Job Summary

Specialist Systems Engineer in Cisco’s I&M I&MI team focused on optical networking and end-to-end converged Layer 0–Layer 3 infrastructure. Provides pre-sales technical leadership, architecture, and ROI-based business case modeling for Cisco’s Optical, Routing, and Automation portfolio to service providers, web-scale operators, and public sector customers in ANZ/ASEAN, leveraging DWDM, Crosswork, NSO, PCA, and AI networking.

Location: Hanoi, Jakarta, Manila

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, services, engineering, and account teams to align strategies across I&MI architectures
•Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept to customers at all levels, including CXO
•Design and architect end-to-end solutions for next-generation converged networks from Layer 0 to Layer 3
•Lead RFP/RFQ responses for optical and routing solutions in service provider environments
•Create ROI-based business case modeling to drive value-based selling and act as a trusted technical advisor for strategic accounts

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in Optical, Service Provider routing and Solution sales/engineering
•Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or Solutions Architect in the telecommunications/networking industry
•Experience engaging with key customers, understanding their unique needs, and applying industry best practices
•Good understanding of the service providers, web-scale players, Public Sector and Enterprise customers in the ANZ and ASEAN regions
•Deep knowledge of optical networking space with experience in DCI, Metro, Core, and Subsea DWDM solutions
