Key Responsibilities

  • •Design high-availability, multi-zone OpenShift clusters (IPI/UPI) and manage control plane health including ETCD tuning and API server optimization.
  • •Provide advanced Linux and systems engineering for RHEL/CoreOS internals, including kernel tuning, memory management, and systemd optimization.
  • •Implement security baselines using CIS/STIG benchmarks and lead vulnerability remediation via Red Hat Satellite or Ansible.
  • •Automate infrastructure and operations using Python/Bash tooling, ArgoCD GitOps workflows, and Terraform/Ansible for multi-cluster provisioning and Day-2 operations.
  • •Drive observability and reliability by managing Prometheus/Grafana/Thanos monitoring, scaling EFK/Loki logging, and acting as a Tier-3 escalation point for major incidents with deep-dive RCA.

Key Requirements

  • •8 to 10 years of systems engineering experience with strong Linux internals expertise and enterprise OpenShift (OCP 4.x) administration.
  • •Deep expertise in RHEL/CoreOS internals including kernel tuning, memory management (OOM killer optimization), and systemd.
  • •Advanced skills in system-level troubleshooting (strace, tcpdump, sar) and capacity planning for large-scale enterprise workloads.
  • •Ability to architect security baselines using CIS/STIG benchmarks and manage vulnerability remediation using Red Hat Satellite or Ansible.
