Job Summary

Operate and monitor industrial drying and packaging equipment at the Rothschild, WI site within Kerry’s Applied Health and Nutrition division. Maintain product quality by adjusting dryers, responding to deviations, completing required data entry and recordkeeping, and running CIP sanitation processes. Collaborate with packagers and maintenance during breakdowns, track critical control points under HACCP procedures, and support continuous improvement, safety, and customer/cost goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Efficiently operate and monitor the Spray Dry Dryer and Packager, Crystalline Dryer and Packager, Anhydrous Dryer and Packager, and Refinery Assistant positions.
•Adjust dryers as needed to ensure product uniformity, maximum dryer rates, and standards throughout the dryer run.
•Take appropriate action when raw material or finished product does not meet standards for color, texture, smell, or foreign material.
•Assist packagers with bag preparation, room cleaning, bag staging, warehousing production, scale checks, and sample collection/submission to the lab.
•Initiate CIP processes on dryer feed tanks, circuits, and dryers, including hand cleaning of valves, tubs, jumpers, and related equipment per sanitation schedules and SQF/SOP/regulatory requirements.

•Ability to work safely and in a warm and dusty environment.
