Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute DFM by applying PCB supplier fabrication limitations and guiding design engineers to optimize PCB layouts.
  • •Maintain flex printed circuit design specifications, guidelines, and the design rule roadmap.
  • •Conduct PCB supplier audits and expand audit criteria to ensure suppliers meet quality standards.
  • •Analyze defects in flexible printed circuits and lead improvement activities across the supply chain.
  • •Qualify vendor manufacturing sites and lines to support smooth transitions from NPI to mass production ramp.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years hands-on experience in PCB manufacturing or industrializing and managing PCB suppliers.
  • •Deep expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) in flex substrate fabrication and the link between flex design rules and manufacturing capability.
  • •Strong knowledge of industry specifications and standards, particularly IPC and JEDEC.
  • •Experience optimizing PCB panel design to balance material, cost, and capacity.
  • •Proficiency with industry software tools such as Allegro, Valor, NX, and JMP.
