Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair broken wood pallets and prepare them for use by moving pallets/supplies to and from grounds and trailers.
  • •Operate a forklift to transport pallets and supplies while communicating with management and coworkers.
  • •Use required tools and equipment (nail gun, pry bars, pallet lift) to complete repairs.
  • •Process the paperwork necessary to support the position and keep work records.
  • •Provide backup support for the palletizer (helping with slip breaks) and assist in the yard as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs. and stand/sit on a forklift for up to 8–12 hours.
  • •Be willing to operate a forklift and take/pass forklift operation certification.
  • •Be willing to operate a pallet lift and use nail gun, pry bars, and pallet lift equipment.
  • •Have at least 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years.
  • •Have at least 3 months operating machinery in a processing/factory environment.
