Job Summary

Operate end dump and/or belly dump equipment to deliver soils, aggregates, and construction materials to residential and commercial locations. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, basic oil/grease and normal operating adjustments, and maintain efficient equipment working condition. Load and unload water for compaction and dust control, keep time and material records, communicate effectively via radio, and follow verbal and written instructions.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver soils, aggregates, and other construction materials to residential and commercial locations.
•Load and unload large quantities of water for compaction and/or dust control.
•Connect and disconnect pup trailer and handle covering/uncovering loads as needed.
•Maintain the equipment’s efficient working condition, performing minor servicing and maintenance or escalating major issues to the supervisor.
•Communicate effectively on the radio system and keep time and material records. (Incl. occasional lifting and movement of 10 to 30 lbs.)

Key Requirements

•At least one year of related experience in operating end dump and/or belly dump equipment.
•Class A CDL.
•Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently, including maneuvering and backing with double and triple pups.
•Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections and make normal operating adjustments to the truck.
•Must keep time and material records and follow verbal and written instruction.
