Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safe operating practices and procedures; independently determine parts required for each job and coordinate with the Shop Parts Department.
  • •Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist in end-of-day cleanup of tools, parts, and equipment.
  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trailers in a shop setting.
  • •Document work performed, parts used, and findings on Repair Orders using the company device and/or Karmak application.
  • •Communicate with the Shop Manager and support team to obtain approvals on repair estimates, retrieve purchase order numbers, and discuss RO findings.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED and up to 2 years’ related experience.
  • •Must supply a personal set of hand tools.
  • •OEM training and certifications are preferred.
  • •Must be able to pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
  • •Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File; DOT medical card required/valid.
