Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost management strategies, manage vendor prequalification, assess proposals and bids, and recommend bid outcomes.
  • •Lead estimating services by developing project estimates, reviewing junior estimates, presenting recommendations including value engineering and risk assessments, and validating costs with vendors.
  • •Manage cost reporting and forecasting by establishing reporting schedules, reviewing cost reports, maintaining a commercial risk register, and coordinating periodic meetings.
  • •Manage cost control by reviewing payment assessments, recommending contractor entitlements with project managers, supporting change order reviews, and using dispute prevention/management/resolution procedures.
  • •Oversee invoicing and final accounting, including post-contract audits, account close outs, and post-contract reviews to produce lesson-learned documentation and handover procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large-sized commercial, corporate interiors, workplace, office, or regional hub construction projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering, with strong communication skills.
