Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle in accordance with applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely along required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment; manage skids and equipment returns.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork (including bills of lading) and deliver documentation when routes are complete; facilitate routine truck service and report malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight operated.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing per federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Must pass a DOT physical for trucks driven over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to speak professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
