Key Responsibilities

  • •Run payroll end-to-end by owning the full native in-house German payroll cycle in-house with accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.
  • •Own payroll master data validation, covering new hires, terminations, salary changes, variable pay, benefits, absences, and garnishments (Pfändungen) within payroll deadlines.
  • •Perform rigorous pre- and post-payroll validations each cycle, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • •Handle statutory filings and access, including Lohnsteueranmeldung, SV-Meldungen, Jahresmeldung, U1/U2 reimbursement claims, and ELStAM data retrieval/maintenance.
  • •Configure and maintain the payroll system, test legislative updates, troubleshoot issues, and support reporting, audits, and complex escalations; advise on relevant legal interpretations.
