Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and influence the direction of a small team using expertise in target tracking and state estimation.
  • •Prototype and deploy tracking, multi-sensor fusion, and state-estimation algorithms in agile, iterative development.
  • •Develop high-performance real-time software spanning tactical implementations, simulation environments, and decision-support tools.
  • •Design robust filters/estimators and probabilistic reasoning systems to extract insights from noisy or incomplete sensor data.
  • •Validate performance using high-fidelity simulations and statistical techniques, and integrate solutions across the full development lifecycle including testing and optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in algorithm design, software development, and statistical modeling with C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
  • •Strong knowledge of target tracking techniques, including Kalman filters, particle filters, and multi-target tracking (e.g., JPDA, MHT, PHD filters).
  • •Experience in state estimation, including Bayesian filtering, sensor fusion, and recursive estimation.
  • •Solid applied mathematics foundation (linear algebra, optimization, probability, stochastic processes) and signal processing for sensor data (radar, lidar, EO/IR).
  • •Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
