Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Legal Director in developing and executing legal strategy and priorities for Greater China and North Asia, including business initiatives and strategic projects.
  • •Advise country, regional, and global stakeholders across business activities such as HR, sales, marketing, e-commerce, digital, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, R&D, and corporate functions.
  • •Anticipate and manage legal and regulatory risks, providing practical, business-oriented solutions to enable growth.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and advertising claims/programs across media formats.
  • •Manage litigation, investigations, disputes, and interactions with external counsel, regulators, and government authorities, partnering with Compliance on integrity initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to practice law in China with 12-15+ years of post-qualification experience in multinational consumer/healthcare or other regulated industries and/or top-tier law firms.
  • •Strong experience advising businesses across Greater China and North Asia on complex legal, regulatory, and cross-border matters.
  • •Proven ability to operate strategically and hands-on, partnering effectively with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • •Demonstrated success balancing legal risk with commercial objectives and delivering pragmatic, business-focused solutions.
  • •Fluent in English and Mandarin.
