Lead and design high-speed mixed-signal ICs for optical communication transceivers within a small, collaborative IC design team. Architect, design, layout, and validate ultra-deep submicron CMOS analog blocks (>25 Gb/s), mentor teammates, and ensure signal integrity from conception to production while coordinating with packaging and hardware teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead efforts for a large block on a complex chip, mentor team members and track deliverables, and participate in peer review of complex IC designs from conception to production.
•Collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met.
•Develop high-speed AMS circuits and best-in-class products, maintaining detail orientation and energy to solve difficult problems.
•Contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused team environment, sharing knowledge and accepting feedback to improve team effectiveness.
•Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and implement improvements with alignment from team members.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 159,000 - 230,300 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of related experience, or Master's degree plus 8 years of related experience, or PhD plus 5 years of related experience.
•Prior experience in the design, simulation, and measurement of high-speed ICs across SerDes/serial links, output drivers, PLLs, clock distribution, Opamps/PGA or equalization techniques.
•Experience with high-speed AMS circuit development and productization, including collaboration with packaging and hardware teams to meet signal and power integrity specifications.
•Ability to lead a large block on a complex chip, mentor team members, track deliverables, and participate in peer reviews from conception to production.
•Experience with design software including Cadence (Virtuoso), Spectre/APS/SpectreX, layout validation tools (Virtuoso and Calibre), EMX, AMS simulations, and Matlab.
