Job Summary

Lead sales acceleration for Visa Direct across key markets in the CISSEE sub-region, with a focus on Southeastern Europe. Partner with sales leaders to achieve aggressive merchant and acquirer targets, drive pipeline development and reviews, and develop sales strategy for prospecting and deal execution. Coordinate cross-functional workstreams spanning product, marketing, communications/PR, finance, legal, and client services to ensure strong client outcomes and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Achieve or exceed aggressive annual sales targets for Visa Direct across SEE countries for both merchant and acquirer sales.
•Take clients through the sales cycle from prospecting and solutioning to deal structure and contract; develop sales strategy and high-potential client targeting.
•Drive Visa Direct growth workstreams, including cross-selling to existing Visa merchants, prospecting non-Visa merchants, selling to enablers (acquirers/processors/gateways/FinTechs), and leading a reseller program.
•Partner cross-functionally to deliver go-to-market strategy, client-facing materials, PR/conference communications, finance incentive modeling and approvals, legal contracting, and client services handoff to implementation.
•Lead pipeline development and regular pipeline review/problem-solving sessions; support monthly pipeline consolidation and enable seller readiness via ongoing sales training and handling objections.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
•9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years with an advanced degree (or 3+ years with a PhD) is preferred.
•Experience in at least one of: e-commerce, acquiring, or PSP.
•Financial/payment industry knowledge; push payments or real-time payments experience is a plus.
•Strong networking, leadership, and communication skills, including executive presence to interface with senior client executives.
