Key Responsibilities

•Perform propulsion cycle analysis and engine performance predictions by creating computer simulations to meet system-level requirements.
•Prepare steady-state and transient engine performance data to support engine control, stress and aerodynamic studies.
•Specify requirements, evaluate engine test data and document results to support development, flight testing, production and product entry into service.
•Understand system-level issues related to aircraft engine design, performance, operability and operation; assess feasibility of new concepts and support preliminary design studies.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with program objectives and deliverables.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 4 years’ experience, or Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to manage multiple analytical tasks concurrently and work well in teams.
•Ability to lead integrated product teams and collaborate across functions.
•Background or demonstrated expertise in engine performance and aerodynamics, sizing, cycle analysis and/or preliminary design analysis is an asset.
