Key Responsibilities

•Keep hatchery equipment running and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment listed in the hatchery maintenance scope.
•Execute routine maintenance tasks and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
•Follow the equipment list (Separator, Tray, Washer, Macerator, Vacuum system, Hatchers, Setters, A/C units, Heaters, etc.) and ensure all components function correctly.
•Identify and fix issues in a timely manner and replace or repair defective parts as needed.
•Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe work environment and product integrity.

Key Requirements

•Must be dependable and able to perform duties with consistency in a fast-paced hatchery environment.
•Must be able to bend, squat, and lift appropriate loads as part of daily maintenance tasks.
•Must be able to work in temperatures up to 100 degrees in setters and related areas.
•Must be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 50 lbs, with occasional overhead lifting.
•Must have electrical knowledge and be able to work with electrical components, wiring, motors, and control boards.
