Key Responsibilities

  • •Keep hatchery equipment running and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment listed in the hatchery maintenance scope.
  • •Execute routine maintenance tasks and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • •Follow the equipment list (Separator, Tray, Washer, Macerator, Vacuum system, Hatchers, Setters, A/C units, Heaters, etc.) and ensure all components function correctly.
  • •Identify and fix issues in a timely manner and replace or repair defective parts as needed.
  • •Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe work environment and product integrity.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be dependable and able to perform duties with consistency in a fast-paced hatchery environment.
  • •Must be able to bend, squat, and lift appropriate loads as part of daily maintenance tasks.
  • •Must be able to work in temperatures up to 100 degrees in setters and related areas.
  • •Must be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 50 lbs, with occasional overhead lifting.
  • •Must have electrical knowledge and be able to work with electrical components, wiring, motors, and control boards.
