Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently lead end-to-end I&C vendor oversight for complex, multi-system power generation programs from design through operational handoff.
  • •Oversee the full I&C project lifecycle: initial design/installation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and initial operations support.
  • •Coordinate and integrate control systems with electrical and mechanical teams and ensure seamless integration with other plant systems.
  • •Drive safety, regulatory compliance, and engineering quality by enforcing fail-safe and redundancy requirements and establishing Crusoe I&C standards.
  • •Train and develop junior I&C engineers, resolve cross-vendor design conflicts, and review vendor deliverables for engineering adequacy.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls/Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • •20+ years of experience in control systems, electrical power management systems, controls engineering, or a closely related field, including power plant DCS or PLC-based control systems.
  • •Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
  • •Professional experience in a power systems environment, including power generation operations.
  • •Strong collaboration and communication skills to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
