Job Summary

Design and lead the architecture and delivery of scalable software solutions for public sector portals. Oversee modernization of a monolithic Java/Oracle application through decomposition, and develop new capabilities using Java, NodeJS, VueJS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and CosmosDB. Partner with product owners and Scrum/QA teams to deliver business-impacting projects, automate deployments for a microservices architecture, improve CI/CD and release processes, and provide production troubleshooting and technical mentoring.

•Design and architect solutions for public sector portals and, in some cases, own project/feature design.
•Maintain and decompose a monolithic Java/Oracle application into modern services.
•Develop and support enhancements for public sector portals using Java, NodeJS, VueJS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and CosmosDB.
•Improve release processes and drive migration toward Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration (CI/CD), including automating deployments in a microservices architecture.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver projects, perform code reviews, provide technical mentoring, and troubleshoot production issues (including on-call rotation).

•3-5 years of experience with Agile methodology and relational and non-relational databases.
