Key Responsibilities

  • •Construct new and maintain existing pipeline systems, including material selection, procedure development, code compliance, and inspection of work.
  • •Evaluate leakage survey effectiveness and operate pipeline systems for regulation, measurement, and loss or gain of natural gas.
  • •Design system mains, regulator and meter settings, and corrosion control protection.
  • •Review completed job paperwork for accuracy and adherence to original design specifications.
  • •Provide engineering specifications, surveys, directions, and specialized reports to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, coordinating with Operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in engineering (or Engineer-In-Training registration) plus 4–12 years of professional engineering experience, depending on ABET accreditation and EIT status.
  • •Valid driver's license.
  • •Communicate technical concepts with internal/external customers to explain and provide information.
  • •Advanced knowledge of software applications to create complex documents, reports, and graphics.
  • •As a safety-sensitive role, complete pre- and post-employment screenings including DOT/PHMSA drug testing and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks.
