Join the Fleet Maintenance team to keep Carvana’s Class 8 day cab trucks and trailers safe and reliable. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and system diagnostics for electrical, engine, and transmission issues. Handle aftertreatment (DEF/emissions) repairs, regens, and filter changes while collaborating to maintain accurate records, optimize performance, and minimize downtime—always following safety protocols and DOT compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on Carvana’s Class 8 fleet.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission problems using diagnostic tools and software.
•Repair aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), perform regens, and change filters.
•Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records, optimize vehicle performance, and minimize downtime.
•Follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure the fleet is DOT compliant.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers (or similar equipment such as agricultural, construction, or waste collection).
•Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
•Experience with aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions) and electrical diagnostics.
•Proficiency with diagnostic software and using a laptop for manuals; MIG welding is a plus.
•Obtain at least two ASE certifications within the first 6 months; must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
