Lead the overall management and coordination of plant operations to achieve cost, profit, quality, and productivity goals. Manage and coach the production management team, develop production and shipping schedules, and oversee master scheduling across shifts. Drive quality improvement initiatives, monitor output and scrap, manage inventory coordination, and partner with Maintenance and Safety Committees to ensure OSHA-compliant operations and effective reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure all plant assets are properly managed and safeguarded.
•Staff, develop, and coach the production management team and initiate corrective action as required.
•Develop and/or approve master production and shipping schedules and coordinate production activities between shifts and other functions.
•Establish quality standards and lead quality improvement initiatives, monitoring output, cuts/yields, and scrap.
•Monitor expenses, review P&L vs. budget, and ensure plant compliance with HR policies and OSHA requirements while managing Maintenance activities.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of two years of work experience as a production manager or equivalent.
•Staff, develop, and coach the production management team, evaluate performance, and initiate corrective action as required.
•Ensure the plant complies with HR company policies and Federal, State and local laws, rules, and regulations.
•Monitor expenses and review P&L and other business documents against budget, initiating corrective action as required.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
