Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead up to 5 production operators with daily tasks and job assignments.
  • •Ensure operators follow standard work instructions, safety procedures, and quality checks.
  • •Act as first responder for minor line stoppages, quality issues, or process deviations; escalate to Supervisor as needed.
  • •Train and cross-train operators on job tasks and standard work; assist with onboarding and mentoring new hires.
  • •Monitor and report basic line metrics (output, scrap, downtime), support 5S/visual management, participate in daily huddles, and support continuous improvement/kaizen events.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 4 years of manufacturing production experience, ideally in automotive, heavy equipment, or discrete manufacturing.
  • •Demonstrated reliability and a strong understanding of the production process/line.
  • •Basic understanding of safety and quality standards on the floor.
  • •Ability to train and guide coworkers in a clear, patient manner.
  • •Familiarity with lean tools (5S, standard work) and forklift or other equipment certification.
