Job Summary

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal teams and external customers/suppliers supporting RAF Lossiemouth’s P-8A Poseidon fleet. Provide technical advice within approved data sets, mentor others, and lead maintenance execution guidance in line with MoD-approved information. Coordinate across maintenance organizations and engineering stakeholders, troubleshoot mechanical/propulsion and AV/electronic issues, interpret technical publications, and research technical and quality discrepancies using analytics and related tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders and external customers/suppliers within approved technical data sets for maintenance, fault investigations, and repairs.
•Lead guidance for execution of maintenance activities in accordance with the MoD UK P-8A approved data set, with access to Boeing released technical information and reach-back support.
•Coordinate across military and approved maintenance organizations, airworthiness management, engineering authority, design organizations, OEMs, and Boeing functions.
•Troubleshoot multiple mechanical and propulsion systems and apply knowledge of mechanical/propulsion/AV/electronic systems to analyze and resolve issues for aircraft and components.
•Interpret technical publications and instructions to address customer queries and applicability of modifications, service bulletins/notifications, and special technical instructions.
