Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics on GSE and MHE during turn-in processing.
  • •Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance per Army standards and applicable technical manuals.
  • •Repair and service mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; replace worn/damaged components.
  • •Tag, segregate, and document unserviceable equipment, and update condition codes and maintenance records.

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.
  • •3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining GSE or MHE in an Army or contractor environment.
  • •Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), and property accountability requirements.
  • •Proficiency with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) and condition code classification/documentation.
  • •Must have a Real ID and a valid driver’s license; ability to travel within the U.S. if required.
