Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an AECOM team lead/project manager and/or discipline lead on BRT planning, preliminary, and final design studies.
  • •Oversee preparation and/or review of multimodal street design and BRT infrastructure deliverables, including engineering calculations and drawings.
  • •Develop and review construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates for projects.
  • •Coordinate interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and provide technical specification sections.
  • •Lead budget/schedule execution and provide leadership and mentorship to entry-level engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Microstation/Power InRoads or Power GeoPak or OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • •Roadway design experience, including Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and/or Light Rail Transit (LRT) design.
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
