Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and optimize process of record (POR) for assembly and packaging technologies, defining process windows and characterization strategies.
  • •Apply statistical and structured methodologies (DOE, SPC, RCA, FMEA, OCAP) to characterize processes, investigate failures, and improve yield and reliability.
  • •Analyze manufacturing, yield, and equipment data to identify trends, build data-driven solutions for anomaly detection, and enable predictive process monitoring.
  • •Support NPI by driving process readiness, product qualification, and technology transfers with first-pass success; evaluate new materials, technologies, and equipment.
  • •Provide technical leadership by coaching engineers in structured problem-solving and leading cross-functional teams across PDE, Manufacturing, Yield, Reliability, Process Integration, and Equipment Engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • •5+ years of semiconductor industry experience in process development, failure analysis, yield engineering, process integration, characterization, or NPI engineering.
  • •Strong semiconductor device physics and materials science fundamentals.
  • •Proficiency with advanced characterization techniques including SEM, TEM, FIB, and AFM; plus spectroscopy techniques.
  • •Working knowledge of DOE, SPC, FMEA, JMP, RCA, control plans, and OCAP methodologies.
