Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using Fivetran or similar tools to ingest new sources into Snowflake.
  • •Develop and own dbt projects, including data models, tests, documentation, and semantic layer definitions.
  • •Contribute to Snowflake environment architecture and maintenance, with individual accountability for database/schema design, RBAC, virtual warehouse management, cost governance, and performance optimization.
  • •Lead Snowflake AI and Cortex features by implementing LLM-powered analytics, document intelligence, and AI-driven workflows with stakeholders.
  • •Define and enforce data quality standards using dbt tests, monitoring pipelines, and data observability; maintain data lineage documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of data engineering, analytics engineering, or a closely related data role (8+ preferred).
  • •3+ years of production-level Snowflake experience; SnowPro Core or Advanced certification is a strong plus.
  • •Proven ability to build and maintain dbt projects in production, including models, tests, macros, and documentation.
  • •Experience with ELT/data ingestion tools such as Fivetran or Airbyte (or comparable platforms).
  • •Advanced SQL and deep Snowflake expertise (virtual warehouses, Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, RBAC, clustering, and cost optimization).
