Lead a hyperscale data centre project in the Nordics, overseeing pre-construction through commissioning. Manage mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection), coordinate with design teams and clients, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and guide procurement, budgeting, and vendor oversight on-site.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage mechanical pre-construction activities including constructability in design, procurement and contracts, project planning, budget planning to ensure on-time delivery and high quality.
•Lead and manage mechanical construction activities to deliver on time and within budget with high quality standards.
•Oversee mechanical system installations (HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection) and ensure alignment with design intent and client expectations; manage design and construction issues.
•Oversee design team in constructability and localization focusing on mechanical systems while collaborating with other disciplines; ensure compliance with codes and safety protocols; guide procurement of contractors/vendors.
•On-site supervision of mechanical subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers; conduct inspections and maintain health and safety standards; provide technical troubleshooting as per contract documents and specs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus
•7+ years of experience in mechanical project management on construction sites, including mission critical projects (ideally Data Centres)
•Proven experience managing large, complex mechanical systems installations and commissioning processes
•Expertise in mechanical systems used in data centres (HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, energy management)
•Experience with Owner’s Representation and working directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
