Job Summary

Join the Construction & Infrastructure team as a Surety Broker, helping clients navigate complex bonding requirements for major projects. You’ll manage surety accounts, prepare surety bonds and invoice-related documentation, and provide trusted advisory support. Partner with leaders across the Edmonton and Calgary branches, identify client/prospect needs, develop cost-effective solutions, and ensure files and correspondence meet Aon audit standards while participating in industry events.

Key Responsibilities

•Review bids and prepare sunshine letters, surety bonds, and invoice preparation materials.
•Deliver continuous excellence in servicing an existing book of clients and prospects.
•Collaborate with Edmonton and Calgary leaders to support construction advisory service and solutions.
•Identify client and prospect needs and develop innovative, cost-effective surety solutions.
•Ensure procedures, internal client files, and correspondence comply with Aon audit standards; review and revise surety facilities and support account team oversight and client service plans.

Key Requirements

•Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
•Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
•A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
•Knowledge of surety and construction industry practices is an asset; willingness to learn and grow is required.
