Job Summary

Join Wood’s Projects team in Muscat to deliver Control & Automation design work across FEED and Detail design scopes. You’ll develop C&A drawings and documents, use 3D design tools and electronic drawing workflows, and provide drawing-system expertise. The role includes quality checks, adherence to ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 requirements, progress tracking, and supporting process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost.

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with discipline project engineers/designers to deliver project engineering/construction deliverables, quality control drawings, and project support.
•Ensure quality management system requirements are met in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements.
•Develop designs in PDMS and produce electronic drawings in AutoCAD; implement hand-marked-up changes and maintain standard drawing templates.
•Provide quality assurance reviews and detailed checking support, including maintaining and monitoring drawing development progress.
•Meet project commitments and identify process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost.

Key Requirements

•Minimum ITI or equivalent.
•Minimum 3 years in FEED/Engineering and 6 years in the oil and gas industry on major capital projects.
•Minimum 5 years with 3D drawing systems (e.g., PDMS) and AutoCAD.
•Knowledge of advanced 3D design applications and processes, including Aveva software (PDMS design modules, forms/menus, REVIEW).
•Understanding of applicable codes and standards (API, CENELEC, IEC, IEC IP, IEEE, NEC, NEMA) plus HSE best practices.
