Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary technical point of contact for software-related issues on mature radar systems, analyzing and triaging reports.
  • •Resurrect and maintain legacy source code so it remains accessible, compilable, and testable on current hardware and simulation systems.
  • •Modernize legacy build environments by upgrading tooling and processes, including migrating from Maven to Bazel and integrating GitLab CI/CD.
  • •Own the issue-resolution lifecycle by fixing code when possible or coordinating with internal domain experts to deliver solutions.
  • •Manage compilation, testing, and release building of updated software packages for customers.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of C/C++ software engineering experience within a Linux environment.
  • •Strong interest in DevOps methodologies, build systems, and continuous integration tooling.
  • •Experience with build automation and configuration tools such as CMake, Bazel, Maven, and Make.
  • •Ability to investigate broken legacy systems and modernize outdated infrastructure/processes.
  • •HBO or WO diploma in (technical) informatics or computer science; possession of a Dutch passport is required.
