Job Summary

Join Aon’s Impact Forecasting team to validate and implement catastrophe risk models, provide advisory support on ELEMENTS, and collaborate with global R&D and client teams. You will design tools to improve data processing, deliver client insights from catastrophe models, and guide clients in interpreting results, in a hybrid in-office/remote setting based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

•Use Impact Forecasting catastrophe risk models to deliver insights for clients
•Design and build solutions and tools that improve user experience and data processing capabilities
•Provide hands-on guidance on ELEMENTS to internal and external clients
•Offer software advisory support from troubleshooting, data preparation to interpreting and presenting results
•Collaborate with global R&D teams on development, validation and implementation of models and with clients across regions as needed

Key Requirements

•3-4 years of experience in Reinsurance/Catastrophe modeling is preferred
•Good knowledge of SQL and/or Python; GIS tools is an advantage
•Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
•Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail; ability to work independently and in a team
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, with ability to engage stakeholders across levels
