Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete general mechanical inspections and repairs on auction/customer vehicles, including brake jobs, exhaust system jobs, front end alignments, ball joints, air conditioning, and maintenance referrals for transmission work.
  • •Perform general maintenance such as oil and fluid changes, tire changes, and vehicle check overs while following safety procedures.
  • •Conduct frame inspections of vehicle undercarriages to identify cracks, bends, or other damage.
  • •Complete pre- and post-sale inspections including test drives and motor vehicle safety inspections with body, frame, damage, powertrain checks, and safety checklist completion.
  • •Provide general shop maintenance, pull vehicles into the shop, test drive for diagnosis, and may assist with sourcing parts, quotes, and work order entries.

Key Requirements

  • •Certification as an Automotive Service Technician (310S in Ontario) required.
  • •Experience repairing and servicing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems/components on a variety of vehicles.
