Key Responsibilities

  • •Design workstations (cockpits, flight decks, mission consoles, ground control stations), including geometry, layout, and furnishing.
  • •Develop HMI and multimodal interaction, including control units, indicators, displays, and GUI interaction means.
  • •Apply an end-to-end HFE process across the systems life cycle from concept definitions through entry into service.
  • •Conduct mission/task/ergonomic/workload analyses and Human Error Analysis.
  • •Create and validate HMI prototypes (HW and SW) and perform Human Factors V&V, demonstrations, and validation/testing to support qualification/certification.

Key Requirements

  • •Apply Human Factors Engineering (HFE) to ensure user-centered workstation/HMI design using human factors criteria.
