Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, optimize, and characterize thin film (CVD/Diffusion) processes to meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability targets.
  • •Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate results in technical forums.
  • •Perform film characterization (SEM, TEM, XPS, SIMS, AFM) and correlate results to process outcomes.
  • •Troubleshoot process and tool issues and support process transfer/pilot line execution, sustaining process maturity/capability.
  • •Collaborate with multi-functional partners (integration, metrology, failure analysis, yield, manufacturing, and equipment vendors) to ensure robust processes that meet physical/electrical requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD or Master’s (≥3 years) or Bachelor’s (≥5 years) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • •Strong fundamentals in thin film deposition and characterization in an R&D/PD environment.
  • •Ability to execute DOE/SPC and analyze experimental data to draw conclusions.
  • •Fundamental understanding of plasma/vacuum systems and process-chemistry relationships (where applicable).
  • •Structured problem-solving, learning agility, and clear communication with cross-functional collaboration.
