Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct the HSEST function to ensure continuous improvement of HSEST programs and performance for the Evansville Ohara (EOO) site.
  • •Develop and recommend HSEST strategies, policies, procedures, and management systems to ensure regulatory and company compliance.
  • •Drive continuous improvement and site performance improvement using Operational Excellence standards, including gap closure improvement planning and work process/management system development.
  • •Reduce work-related injuries/illnesses and prevent harm to the environment by proactively deploying HSE programs.
  • •Maintain the site ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and certification, and oversee environmental permitting activities.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in engineering, relevant sciences, or a specific HSE discipline (preferred).
  • •Ability to gain thorough knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard.
  • •6+ years of relevant HSE experience with preferred leadership experience in manufacturing or equivalent industry.
  • •Working knowledge of regulatory processes applicable to a plant operation and experience representing the company to regulatory agencies.
  • •Strong leadership skills with effective communication and the ability to interface across departments and levels.
