Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage an hourly workforce by assessing performance, providing feedback, resolving conflict, and addressing repeat issues through corrective actions or disciplinary processes.
  • •Monitor and improve materials management operations to ensure safety with the goal of zero OSHA recordable incidents annually and ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements.
  • •Oversee incoming acceptance, storage, and issuing of parts and hardware; ensure cycle counting and audit readiness; maintain shelf-life storage procedures, rotation, and FIFO practices.
  • •Lead customer-service-focused operations by adapting to business needs, optimizing cost-saving and internal/external reductions, and supporting metric goals for Cape inventory teams.
  • •Supervise local shipping/receiving coordination, develop service routes and replenishments for internal customers, and support fleet vehicle control including preventative maintenance and upkeep.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing; or 4+ years of professional experience in those areas.
  • •1+ years of leadership experience leading teams, projects, or people.
  • •Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
  • •Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines.
  • •Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and be able to perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, bending, grasping, and carrying.
