Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and education to advance construction EHS initiatives that strengthen safety culture and regulatory compliance.
  • •Develop, implement, and monitor construction EHS programs, standards, and procedures, supporting consistent adoption across sites.
  • •Lead construction safety management implementation, including contractor EHS management, pre-task planning, and verification activities.
  • •Plan and perform EHS compliance audits/assessments for construction activities; track findings and verify corrective actions to closure.
  • •Respond to construction emergencies and incidents, leading or supporting investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions to reduce recurrence.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •15+ years leading construction EHS programs, including hazard assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis in complex project environments.
  • •Experience interpreting and applying EHS regulations and standards across sites, partnering to meet compliance obligations.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for reporting, analysis, and communication.
  • •Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, or equivalent (preferred).
