Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and champion a country People vision aligned with executive leadership, enterprise priorities, and Malaysia business needs.
  • •Translate enterprise People strategies into country-specific initiatives and advise senior leaders on talent, capability, and organization strategies.
  • •Lead the Malaysia People team to deliver business-aligned outcomes as one People team, partnering with Centers of Excellence and driving People operations improvement.
  • •Set a responsible AI adoption vision and roadmap across People processes, sponsor approved experimentation, and build AI literacy/change readiness.
  • •Lead strategic workforce planning and organizational effectiveness through organization/work redesign and change management, including talent enablement and inclusive leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Senior HR leadership experience in a complex, matrixed multinational environment with significant country or site accountability.
  • •Demonstrated strength in strategic business partnership, employee relations, organization design, workforce planning, talent, change, and People operations.
  • •Working knowledge of AI-enabled HR, people analytics, digital transformation, and responsible technology governance.
  • •Proven ability to lead through influence, coach senior leaders, and align global frameworks with local business and workforce needs.
  • •Sound understanding of Malaysia employment practices and ability to partner with Legal and Employee Relations on country obligations; bachelor’s degree (advanced HR/business/analytics qualification advantageous).
