Job Summary

Seeking an entry‑level Insurance Purchasing Clerk to assess non-standard risks, collaborate with clients, account managers and insurers, and place insurance solutions on complex multi‑line dossiers. You’ll work hybrid from multiple Dutch offices, develop deep insurance knowledge, and translate market signals into improved service while supporting customers to continue business with appropriate coverage.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess complex customer questions and risks that fall outside standard frameworks and translate them into appropriate insurance solutions
•Actively source insurers and weigh options, terms and premiums to ensure best coverage for clients
•Responsible for the procurement and placement of risks and ensure careful alignment of terms, premiums and agreements
•Collaborate closely with account managers and other stakeholders, balancing substantive, commercial and relational interests
•Contribute to market insights and drive improvements in our services by translating signals into business opportunities

Key Requirements

•MBO level work and thinking (or equivalent) and willingness to obtain or already hold Wft Basis and Schade Zakelijk (pré) or be prepared to obtain them
•Strong analytical ability to understand complex risk questions and translate into insurance solutions
•Excellent communication and influencing skills to align internal and external stakeholders
•Affinitie with the insurance industry and experience with client contact (pré)
•Ability to work in a hybrid setup and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously
