Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver backend software by designing, building, and maintaining production-grade systems for the fraud decision management platform.
  • •Lead day-to-day system development and maintenance to meet SLAs, coordinating offshore development and managing daily activities.
  • •Own full systems development life cycle artifacts, including requirements documents, use cases, design, performance benchmarking, release/deployment plans, and feasibility/cost/time analysis.
  • •Provide production support as a subject matter expert for incidents and problem tickets, and assist with design/implementation alongside technical leads.
  • •Participate in PoCs and selection of vendor solutions and technologies, run code reviews and security/PCI reviews, and mentor teammates through the SDLC.

Key Requirements

  • •6-9 years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals and production-grade development experience.
  • •Solid understanding of service and platform-level system design, including distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
  • •Expertise in Java and Spring, plus backend service development for high performance and scalability.
  • •Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • •Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), relational databases (Oracle), NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra), and secure coding standards (OWASP/CWE/SEI CERT) with vulnerability management.
