Key Responsibilities

  • •Read the production schedule and handle packaging-floor materials by moving, weighing/counting, and distributing items within the plant.
  • •Verify product load accuracy and safely move pallets, skids, boxes, and products around the packaging floor and facility.
  • •Operate or tend material handling equipment and automatic stacking/loading/packaging/cutting machines when applicable.
  • •Remove and track waste in the packaging department; ensure proper placement and marking of materials/pallet tags.
  • •Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks, including sweeping floors, keeping aisles/exits clear, and following safe lifting/carrying instructions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
