Key Responsibilities

  • •Set technical direction for Canva’s hybrid mobile platform, deciding what is shared vs native and how the layers work together.
  • •Turn the architecture into shipped code, establishing foundations for performance, reliability, and observability.
  • •Bring a React Native product surface into production within six months with stable capabilities and platform primitives for teams.
  • •Serve as the architectural anchor for Staff and Senior engineers across Mobile Platform during the migration.
  • •Scale platform adoption by working with major product teams and establishing patterns engineers trust to use.
