Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive new optical and imaging module architectures based on system requirements and human visual perception.
  • •Use geometrical and/or wave optics tools to design optical modules and assess performance limits and tradeoffs.
  • •Lead on-tool and off-tool module integration, calibration, and qualification, including execution and ownership of plans.
  • •Apply characterization techniques, run statistical analysis, and evaluate performance, quality, and repeatability.
  • •Support supplier and manufacturing ramp from prototype to high-volume production, including documentation generation and advanced debugging/root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Optical Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
  • •10+ years of relevant industry experience in optical modules, optical systems, or related hardware development.
  • •Proven experience leading optical module design, integration, calibration, and qualification.
  • •Strong knowledge of optical engineering principles and hands-on problem solving for system-level issues.
  • •Experience working with manufacturing partners and suppliers, including build and on-site support.
